How lessons are run
Before the first block, we agree collection, drop-off, emergency contact, observation, progress updates and any relevant support needs. A child should never be asked to keep lesson activity secret from a parent or carer.
Online lessons
- Sessions take place through the agreed platform and account.
- A responsible adult should be available in the home.
- The learner should join from an appropriate shared or agreed space.
- Recording requires advance permission and a clear reason.
- Links and files are shared through agreed professional channels.
Parent observation policy
Parents are welcome to observe children's lessons, particularly for younger learners. We'll discuss together what helps your child engage while preserving appropriate transparency and focus during the session.
Photography, video and testimonials
No child's image, name, recording, performance clip or testimonial is published without the required parent or carer consent. Consent is specific, recorded and can be withdrawn for future use. Stock portraits are never presented as real students.
Raising a concern
If a parent, child, school or team member has a safeguarding concern, please contact Sound & Soul Studio using the published business contact details. Immediate danger should always be reported to emergency services.
